Stunt Ranch was founded by a collection of film industry folks, looking to create a fun and exciting place to collaborate on creative adventures, while sharing our knowledge, our technical and creative skills and, most of all, our joyful attitude toward life, with others - especially kids. All of our endeavors focus on one mission:
To provide a series of immersing transformational experiences designed to promote knowledge, skill, confidence, creativity, fitness and optimism.
These are the virtues I wanted to impart into my three sons, and I built Stunt Ranch as the ideal setting to accomplish this.

At STUNT RANCH, lively demonstrations featuring exciting outdoor activities at our twelve acre facility show how "behind the scenes" wizardry is used to safely create the spectacular stunts seen in movies.

It's About Science...
How is science used to help solve the challenges in movie-making?
Steve Wolf and his staff show how mechanics, kinetics, heat, electronics, optics, physics, chemistry, engineering, mathematics, computers, and safety are used to create movies stunts and special effects.
FOUNDER Steve Wolf, Special Effects Coordinator, has spent 19 years in the movie business. As the owner of WOLF STUNTWORKS, he has designed, engineered, and performed stunts and special effects for feature films and television shows, including The Firm, The Client, The Jungle Book, Cast Away, and many more!
Steve uses his knowledge to help students develop an appreciation and understanding of science. Steve is also the founder of "Science in the Movies", a traveling show that is recognized by educators around the country as an effective, one-of-a-kind educational experience for all students.
During STUNT RANCH programs, Steve and the staff perform numerous stunts and special effects, explaining the science that makes them possible. Participants take part in several of these stunts and learn firsthand the scientific principles involved.
Steve covers all of the physical science tested in most standardized science tests, and does it in a way that learners never forget!
